I always thought it was strange that people would grow raspberries in the garden when they were so common in the wild. Once I saw cultivated raspberries I understood why they were grown. Bigger size, yields, more colors and outstanding flavor are all reasons to grow cultivated raspberries.

Varieties:

Anne Yellow- Yellow raspberries with exceptional flavor. Makes summer and fall crops. Huge berries. My favorite raspberry of all the varieties I’ve grown over the years

Prelude- Delicious red raspberry, produces early summer crop (hence the name), also makes a nice fall crop.

Caroline- Excellent flavor, red raspberry, makes summer and fall crop

Bristol Black Cap- Black raspberry, awesome flavor and vigorous plant
