Aronia berry (aronia meloncarpa): Excellent native shrubs that border wetlands in the wild, and do very well in cultivation. Dark black berries feed an abundance of wildlife and are great for juices and preserves. Aronia is considered a super-berry, extremely high in antioxidants and nutrients.
