English Oak quercus robur- Extremely productive, large green attractive acor myns. Probably the most adaptable and easy to establish oak tree we have grown.
Bur x Gambel Hybrid Oak - Bears huge crops medium size acorns at a young age. Very prolific and very low tannin. These are the easiest of all the acorns we have tried leaching. It usually only requires one or two changes of hot water to remove tannins.
Northern Red Oak- Fast growing, large acorns, excellent for timber, wildlife, and acorn production.
Bur x White Oak- Extremely productive, huge crops of large beautiful acorns, fully drought proof and highly tolerant of poor soil
Bur Oak (Ashworth)- Excellent strain of bur oak discovered by Fred Ashworth. Nuts are large and very low in tannins. Bur oaks and their hybrids are tolerant of drought and flooding. They are one of the most adaptable and fastest growing of all the oak species.
Pin Oak- Awesome wide spreading oak produces abundant crops of small striped acorns that are very high in oil. Extremely tolerant of poor soils and drought
Chestnut Oak- Native to the driest most exposed sites atop ridges and Appalachian mountains. Large acorns, members of the white oak family, chestnut oaks are known for their beautiful deeply furrowed bark
